Property Tags
Property Tags
Section titled “Property Tags”Overview
Section titled “Overview”Property Tags are user-defined labels that can be applied to properties to make them easier to categorize, search, and manage within the Luxury Property Software platform. Tags allow for flexible classification based on location, type, attributes, or operational needs.
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”Property Tags serve as a lightweight and customizable way to group and identify properties across a portfolio. Instead of placing extra information into address fields, users can apply structured tags to improve visibility and searchability.
Common examples include:
- Neighborhood or district – e.g.,
Desert Mountain,Canyon Ranch - Geographic location – e.g.,
Arizona,France,Lakefront - Property characteristics – e.g.,
2-Story Home,With Garage,Gated Access - Usage or scheduling – e.g.,
Monday Route,Friday Route,Route 3
The most common use case is naming routes or districts to help consolidate service scheduling. However, tags are fully flexible and can be used for any relevant grouping or classification.
Creating Tags
Section titled “Creating Tags”Authorized users (such as Property Managers) can create tags directly within the platform. Each tag includes:
- Name/Label – The visible name of the tag that users will see and use when filtering or assigning properties.
- Description – An optional explanation of what the tag represents or how it should be used.
Tags are defined at the Company level, meaning all users within that company will see and share the same list of available tags.
There are no predefined tag categories — the system is fully open-ended for custom use.
Managing Tags
Section titled “Managing Tags”Property Managers can view and manage all their company’s tags. From the tag management interface, users can:
- View the full list of tags
- Create new tags
- Edit tag name or description
- Delete unused tags
This supports consistency and avoids duplication across the organization.
Applying Tags to Properties
Section titled “Applying Tags to Properties”After tags are created, they can be assigned to individual properties. Each property supports multiple tags.
Users can assign and manage tags directly on the property profile, making it easy to:
- Add tags during onboarding
- Update tags as classifications change
- Remove outdated or irrelevant tags
Tags appear in various areas of the platform and can be used to:
- Filter and search property lists
- Group properties for routing or scheduling
- Identify shared characteristics across properties
