Property Notes
Section titled “Property Notes”Overview
Section titled “Overview”Property Notes are freeform entries attached to property records, used to capture observations, updates, or relevant information about a property. These notes help teams communicate internally and keep track of important details related to property management and maintenance.
It’s important to note that Property Notes are separate from Report Notes, which appear within reports and can include both internal and external comments depending on the report version in use. For details on Report Notes, please refer to the dedicated documentation.
Where Property Notes Are Used
Section titled “Where Property Notes Are Used”Property Notes can be created and accessed primarily within:
- Property records
- Related property activity logs
Common Use Cases
Section titled “Common Use Cases”- Recording observations made during site visits
- Logging homeowner requests or concerns related to the property
- Providing status updates or reminders for team members
- Tracking recurring maintenance issues or unusual findings
Features
Section titled “Features”Depending on the context, Property Notes may include:
- Timestamps and author information
- Basic formatting options like paragraphs and line breaks
- Edit and delete permissions for authorized users
- Links to associated property records and activities
