Property Notes

Property Notes are freeform entries attached to property records, used to capture observations, updates, or relevant information about a property. These notes help teams communicate internally and keep track of important details related to property management and maintenance.

It’s important to note that Property Notes are separate from Report Notes, which appear within reports and can include both internal and external comments depending on the report version in use. For details on Report Notes, please refer to the dedicated documentation.

Property Notes can be created and accessed primarily within:

  • Property records
  • Related property activity logs

  • Recording observations made during site visits
  • Logging homeowner requests or concerns related to the property
  • Providing status updates or reminders for team members
  • Tracking recurring maintenance issues or unusual findings

Depending on the context, Property Notes may include:

  • Timestamps and author information
  • Basic formatting options like paragraphs and line breaks
  • Edit and delete permissions for authorized users
  • Links to associated property records and activities
